Information for The Love Match (1962)

The Love Match, was a Play directed by Mary Kelley. It opened December 12th 1961 produced by Bill Crumblehulme; this was a North Country comedy. Musical accompaniment for this show was by The Rhythmaires, who were a popular Dance Band in Holsworthy in the 1950s and early 1960s. In this show, as with all our productions, one thing never changed, the stage manager - Val Kelley. He was ably assisted by George Tucker the Cobbledick Brothers and others. Vals contribution to the society both in productions and administration has been massive
